How do I pay rent?
Payments shall be made through the online tenant portal using either debit card, credit card, or e-check. Payment can also be made by mailing a check, money order, or certified check to SVN Second Story Real Estate Management at 800 Market St. suite 222 Chattanooga, TN 37402.
What is my security deposit for?
Primarily covers damages that occurred while Leasee was there(normal wear and tear excluded), missed lease payments, key replacements, and cleaning costs.
How much is the security deposit?
1 months rent.
Do I need enters Insurance?
$100,000 Limit of Liability for Lessee's legal ability for damage to Lessor's property for no less than the following causes of loss: fire, smoke, explosion, backup or overflow of sewer, drain or sump, and water damage. Liability Insurance Addendum is included in the Lease attached, Section 11.
I want make some changes to my apartment decor. How far can I go?
Tenants shall not make any alterations, additions or improvements to the premises without the written consent of the landlord. This is detailed in section 1.1o of the attached lease.
I want to sublet my place. Is this allowed?
No, subletting is not permitted
Where is my parking space?
Two parking garages located onsite ($75 per spot) and 2 parking lots, one on the Vine St. side of the property and the other on the Clark St. side of the property.
Is there an Application Fee?
$50 per application
Is There Storage Space Available?
There is storage available at the Fort Wood Apartments, storage costs are currently $15 per storage unit.
